How to Make Sure Your iPhone Screen Won't Rotate Automatically

Many people ask, "where is Portrait Orientation on iPhone?" The Portrait Orientation Lock button is located in the Control Center. When it is on, your iPhone won't automatically rotate.

Swipe down from the top right side of your iPhone screen to open the Control Center. If you have an older phone with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of your screen instead.
Tap on the Portrait Orientation Lock icon.

Your screen will no longer rotate when you turn your phone sideways unless you use an app that only has landscape mode.

How to Turn on Landscape on iPhone
